Natural Dyes

In the search for materia that is biodegradable and environmentally conscious, I revisit the past to understand and bring new ideas for the future.
What materials were used to obtain color prior to the invention of aniline? I decided to investigate and experiment for a year, month by month with a different dye. It all started with the cempasuchil flower after a Day of the Dead, then I dyed with logwood, beans, achiote, and of course indigo and cochineal, among much more.
